What makes people look older in negative way ?
My best friend is only 32 but she has cute her in a short bob and still has 50 extra pounds of baby weight (she had her kid two years ago !)
She has no wrinkles and no skin damage and dresses very well.
She keeps asking me why people think shes in her 40s.
I think it's her extra weight and Mom hair.
Am I right or are their other thigns that make failry young people look old before their time ?

I feel bad for her because she doesnt drink or smoke or do drugs. Never in the sun.
She is overweight, short hair makes her face even rounder and she is tired all the time because of being a Mom.
I dont know how to help.
Anonymously give her gift certificates for hair extensions and weight loss plan ?

If you really care about your friend, you should offer to help. She's asking your why people think she looks older, so she's obviously asking for help. As a mom, she's probably totally exhausted, which also makes her look older. So, you should offer to help her with the kids while she goes to the gym, or go on a diet together, and be encouraging. Maybe you could look at photos together from when you were younger, and point out how great she looked with her hair in a certain style, and suggest she grow it out. BTW--I have a friend who is 25 and still has 80 lbs of baby weight from 2 years ago and a mom hair cut and she looks about 35. I have another friend who is 34, and has 2 kids, and looks like she's 25--she takes care of herself, eats right, works out and has longer hair. So I'd say you are right about why she looks older.

people who are 50 lbs overweight have no wrinkles because of the layer of fat on their face. That's the only good thing about being overweight. I would guess it's the weight that makes her look older. I'm sure she knows she should lose weight so no need for the anonymous tip. My best friend of 25 years is the same way. I'm afraid there is nothing you can say or do to change this. It is up to your friend to WANT to change. My friend would rather eat! And yes my friend looks about 10 to 15 years older than she actually is. Best wishes!

Well, a lot of aging has to do with smoking. My mom smoked and now her skin looks baaaad. Negative skin effects include wrinkles, premature aging, crows feet, and discoloration. Not only that, but women also start to get thinning hair and whatnot.
Luckily, the cosmetic industry has come a loooong way...there are many treatments nowadays to help skin, not to mention make-up to make women look much much younger.
Have your friend get her hair done, and maybe a professional cosmetologist to work on her. Not to mention the fact that you are never too fat or too old to begin working out and staying fit.

Weight can make a person look older unfortunately and perhaps she is tired from the baby that can make us look older. Just be her friend and do fun things with her perhaps volunteer to watch the baby so she can do something for herself. Take a nap go to the spa. A smile can make people look much better just try to be her good friend. She may look younger soon when she gets more adjusted to being a new mom.

Maybe to help her you can take her on outings around once a week, or take her child too if she can't get a sitter- maybe go out to lunch and eat healthy, or then to get your hair done- maybe ask her to try extensions with you. For the weight, you can ask her to join a program like weightwatchers with you, because you don't want to lose weight alone or need the support, etc... Whatever you do don't say do this or do that- you might offend her if you make it clear that you don't like her hair or weight.
It could aslo be how she carries herself- myabe compliment her frequently on her clothes, etc....
I hope this helps, but if she doesnt want to chnage nothing short of being part of a program on TLC or something along that line will change.
good luck

i'm a qualified beautician, and it certainly relies upon on the way you do your make up. I even have constantly been fortunate in looking older then i in my view am. At 15 I had an 18 year old boyfriend who whilst he first met me concept i substitute into a minimum of 18. confident once I do my make up I usually look alot older yet I even have friends who tell me once I placed on alot of make up or greater then mandatory that i appear like i'm attempting to be older. purely placed on the basics, in case you dont opt to look sixteen the place a brown or gold tone eyeshadow some mascara often times slightly eyeliner enables to embellish your eyes and a easy coloration of lipgloss and not lipstick the two. Dont line your lips with a liner 2 colors diffrent then the colour you're wearing. And purely upload slightly bronzer on your face no longer blush. Bronzer purely highlights your face and provides some colour. And in case you dont like your dermis verify in case you do use initiating you employ the suited tournament to your dermis. and take a verify out a mouse or powder based initiating no longer a liquid. If apparently such as you place on make up maximum persons will think of you're youthful attempting to look older by using fact thats what alot of ladies do I see it alot in my carreer.

perhaps she is just doing what lots of moms do and that is becoming a mother and forget all about herself. she needs to take time off from the nursery and act like her age and at the same time enjoy being with her children. I don't know what but I think a new makeover could encourage her to get out of athe negative way and even make her lose some weight.

Not getting enough sleep, and having too much weight will definitely make a person look older. Also, bad eating habits.
Hair less so.

I think you are right with the bob (although they are fashionable today) and extra 50pounds.. Tiredness due to her child could be a factor and eating junk..not to mention if she smokes/drugs or drinks alcohol (excessive). everything plays a role, it could just be genetics.. or maybe shes just lying about her age.....!
