Why do people hate on beautiful people?

Just wanted to ask that question...why do people hate? Why do they talk about each other? Why point out all the negative attributes on a person and not take a look at themselves? Just wondering....

"Hate" is such a strong word - I doubt you truly see this level of emotion in your daily travels.

People gossip and disparage each other to feel superior. Plain and simple.
