While I respect that things could get worse if we leave, though I don't think we should have gone in, I also think the principle of fixing what you break is precluded when those you are responsible for won't stop killing themselves, risking the creation of a power vacuum with leaders taking over who they might niavely believe can make their lives better. The Iraqis so much seem to want to destroy themselves. Am I so wrong for thinking that their internal behavior has just about wiped clean our responsibility to fix their country? What right do they have to want us to fix things when they won't stop aiding their own destruction?

If we went there for the oil how come is that gasoline prices are higher than ever?, our responsibility in Iraq is none, zero, Nil, we should bring the troops back home, that is not our business, it's only the president business, we already have hundreds of young American soldiers dead, for what?, they should stop Saddam execution and put him back in power, after all he's the only one can control that country..☺

What are you, some sort of Iraqi bigot? There are several factions in Iraq fighting, but that's not the same as "the Iraqis." And I think Americans are thinking on too small a scale. President Bush may have bitten off more than he could chew, but think of what the impact of an Iraq that resembles Turkey would have on the region, not in a frame of a year or two, but over the rest of the century.

US should handover Iraq and Afghanistan to Al Qaeda, stop blindly supporting Israel, move all her troops from other countries, stop interfering political matters of any countries. That will make this world much more peaceful place to to live.

So we just forget about the majority of the people who want us there and let the terrorist take back control of Iraq and kill innocent people. If you would research other news resources other than what you see on TV, you would see a side of Iraq that is starting to take care of their own policing of their country.

Your (the USA) responsibility in Iraq is to get out, and pay for all the damage you've done, although you will never be able to restore all the innocent people who've been killed because of your illegal invasion.

There are three factions there, they've always hated each other and we made it worse by erasing the Iraqi military, who held some semblence of control. We made this new problem by obliterating their military, and now we're dealing with it. God save King Bush....

Our troops understand that we help them! some people do no longer help the explanation they are there. it particularly isn't any longer uncomplicated for them by using very fact they are following the orders of money hungry fool. My coronary heart is going out to all of them and their families. i'm hoping they understand of my appreciation for their efforts. Democracy isn't something to stress upon the unwilling or people no longer waiting. This conflict isn't approximately freedom yet approximately loose employer shall we no longer confuse the two!
