Arrrgh! Don't dye the flour....you can buy it naturally blue. Many places in the Santa Fe / Albuquerque area sell Blue Corn Meal from blue corn. It is grown that way. Blue corn enchiladas are a favorite meal out here. It is actually a grayish blue color. Corn and corn flour comes in many colors here.

Paste food coloring found at all Cake Decorating stores. ( don't use the cheap store stuff, don't dye the flour, dye it AFTER it's mixed.)(paste food color WILL stain EVERYTHING, be careful when you use it) Don't use blue corn flour, it's really gray and if you try and make it bluer, you might end up with a mess. (don't use yellow corn flour either, blue and yellow make green,)

Use food coloring or they make a paste that consists of more pigment, that bakeries use.
