Numbered bank accounts are really a thing of the past. Most banks will not send a wire to a numbered bank account. What is done is a anonymous bearer share corporation is formed which has no ownership records in any database. This corporation then opens a bank account in a serious bank secrecy country like Panama and this is how it is done. For more information on offshore banking go to: http://www.panamalaw.org

You are given a number and that number is listed on a sheet of paper with your name and that sheet of paper is stored inside a Vault and only a few employees have access to that vault.

You cannot hack a sheet of paper.

You cannot open a vault inside a bank. (If somebody can do it they would try a vault with money and not one with a bunch of worthless papers)

Only with a Court Order they will release your name.
