I read on Forbes or somewhere that he has some kind of mental disorder, which is actually beneficial in certain ways. I can't find that article now.

No I think you are talking about all the work he does for kids with Mental Disorders.
He also had a falling out with Tom Cruise about Ritilin. He didn't think it was nice for Tom to use his "War of the Worlds" tour to promote that Ritilin is not good for kids.
