i changed the column with the matching pass key box the car will crank ad run as long as you use starting fluid i check to see if the fuel pump was getting power on the gray wire going to the tank and there was no power i run a 12 volt wire from the battery to the gray wire and the pump will not run please help thanks tim

did you check the fuse.also check the ground from the pump,it could be bad.it could be a bad pump too.

change the fuel pump dont buy after market. ac delco is the way to go for gm vehicles. also check for good ground

Sounds llike the fuel pump is inop,or the grd is open to the pump.try adding grd to black wire and see if it runs.
