A book from a friend who moved before I could return it. This happened YEARS ago and I felt so guilty I still have the book. If I borrow something I make sure it is OK if I forget to return it (I am really bad about it) and if it is not OK, I tell them to hound me until it is returned.

I borrowed a cookbook from my sister once and I wouldn't give it back until she returned the book I let her borrow.

I have a few borrowed books, but I've lent a few books and never got them back either. So I guess I'm even.

I do not have a habit of it and cannot think of an occasion but I am sure I have. When I lend someone something, it is usually a book or dvd, something I really do not expect to be returned. I realize that returning things is something that people usually put low on their priority list.

I borrowed a loooooot of lunch money in high school. I forgot my money almost everyday. I probably owe my friends several hundred dollars in lunch money. I wonder what I bought with the money that I always left at home ... hmm.

do not lend me a movie EVER I do not know how to give them back. every single movie I "own" were loaned to me by my uncle and some friends that I have yet to give back. I'm surprised they don't ask for them back but I've been meaning to give them back.
