Because we have to deal with students and you all think that you either a) know everything, b) know nothing and cling to us, c) are constantly being slighted when we treat you like everybody else, or - my personal favorite - you pout when we don't give you extensions or extra credit when you'd rather spend your weekends partying than studying or keeping up with the ol' Syllabus.. Get over yourself and go hit the books. Isn't it finals week? See, we, as your teachers, have the joy of being able to sit back and watch the train wreck that is your life and contemplate how, when we're old, YOUR generation is going to be responsible for taking care of us. It's enough to give anyone with a brain he or she is willing to use a bit of a chafe. And we're not "rood" or "inpatient." We're not even RUDE or IMPATIENT, just fed up with imbecilic tripe like that which is your question.

You may want to look at your own actions first. How are you behaving? How many times do you think the teacher has heard the same question because half the class wasn't listening the first time? If you have an issue with a specific teacher, perhaps you should talk to that teacher and not generalize on Yahoo! Answers.

Teachers are people too, depending on how they are treated expect the same back. As an aspiring teacher I like to think I am not that way. By the way There is a spell check available, you might use it in the future.

Good grief... with your English, I'd be a lot less patient than your teacher probably is! Man, just think about all the idiots they put up with! Not that they are all perfect angels, but I think they do a pretty good job. I don't have the patience to be a teacher- I'll tell you that much right now.

Because they keep seeing the same stoopid mistakes, and it frustrates them. They have trouble remembering that although they see the same mistakes again, and again, and again, and again, the students making the mistakes are always a new batch.

Be polite and patient with school and you might learn something!!!
