I know he's a fantasy goldmine, but w/ Chargers a shoe in for playoffs and possible Super Bowl appearance, wont the Chargers hold him more so they can keep him healthy for later. Is it better to go for the backup Turner?

Yes, I agree with your point, but they also aren't able to risk NOT having him on the field, as he has scored multiple times in the last many games, which have made the Chargers win. Their backup isn't too bad, but he hasn't played much. So, I would start Tomlinson this week because without him, many things can probably go wrong.

You're a week ahead of yourself. LT is gonna play and the Chargers are now playing for home field (and a bye) in the playoffs. With a lot on the line still, he's a must start. If they clinch this week, next week will be Turner's week.

The Chargers may hold him, but any time they get on the Goal Line, they're gonna give it to him just because of the record (and because 9 times out of 10 it only takes one play for him to punch it in)

If you have to the last minute to start a player, watch the pre-game and see what the scuttlebut is. That's what I generally do this time of year. Good luck.

i agree, shop as is. Sims-walker is dealing with a very bypass vulnerable protection in the ravens who have been given burned through hasselbeck final week. Hester and Ochocinco arent reliable ideas atm till they build extra chemistry.

Even 1/2 LT is better than almost any other back in the league.

they still have to play for home field advantage, so they wont rest him. the problem is his jaw. but that other guy makes a good point about 1/2 LT.

I think teams will be giving some "pine time" to the starters because they do not want to risk injuries. Pick very carefully. Good luck.

Start Tomlinson. He will guarantee you at least a touchdown every week.
