I got this in the mail today from support group POMC "parents of murdered children". It doesn't have to be for the loss of a loved one by death it could be loss of someone you loved for any reason God bless all this holiday season hugs to you

There will be a special ornament this season on my Christmas tree It is not that I will need a reminder of how much you mean to me. It will be a reminder rather of all the Christams times we shared in the past; For though you won't be here with me, my love for you will always be. I won't think of the pain in missing you; I know now that our love will get me through. I will remember the reasons why I love you so even though I know it should not have been time for you to go

My special ornamnet is a shining crystal tree; I will put it out so all can see. I'll watch the little tree sparkle from the holiday lights; It will help lighten my way through the lonely nights. I love it...I was engaged five years ago....he committed suicide. His mom had a really hard time with it as did I and I wrote this for her...
I know you think I left you Mom,
But I never left your side.
I've been right there to hold you,
Everytime you've cried.

Though see me you cannot.
Just know that I'm in heaven,

......I am so sorry about your daughter. If you don't mind I would like to know more about what happened. Was it someone you knew? How old was she? If you don't want to talk about it it is o.k. God bless you this christmas.

That is awesome gal, I lost my Dad almost 4 years ago, and this is the 3rd Christmas without him and I sure do miss him, and I know my Mom is really missing him, they were married almost 64 years, and raised 14 children, 10 biological and 4 adopted.
And KatLady, God bless you, I know that you are missing your daughter. You never get over the loss of a loved one, it may ease a little, but it NEVER goes away. May God comfort you this Holiday season and forever. Love, Juanita

Night was filled with Yuletide cheer, his simple home stood bare, its only decoration a single candle, flickering on a plain window sill. It was all he had to offer passersby, a reflection of the warmth he held in his heart, inviting any who saw it to enter and partake.
