Should i be afraid? Cuz he is a little too much violent...and he is SO PROTECITVEE of guys who like me he is 17 i am 15. We best friends.

He sounds like a fiercely protective friend. If that suits you, then just go about your life as you normally do. It could be that he just doesn't want any harm to come to his best friend. Maybe he sees you as more than a friend and is jealous. But if his behavior seriously scares or worries you, then you should have a talk with him. Tell him that he's your best friend and that you only want the best for him, too, which is why you suggest that he join an anger management class or find some other means to keep his anger in check.

You are being too nice calling him "protective". A better word is "abusive". Why would you let this chump tell you who you can and cannot be friends with? Tell him if he does that again, he is history. His "threats" make him look like an idiot. If the guy he was talking to IS taking it seriously then he should call the cops. Communicating a threat is becoming more and more a serious crime. Especially after 9-11. Besides, rule number one in a fight is NEVER UNDERESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENT. You think it's an easy beat down only to have YOURSELF get the beat down. Anyway, tell your loser boyfriend to grow up. You are a human being not property.

He might be interested in you as more than just a best friend, i could be wrong, but he might just not want other guys getting with you because he wants to be with you and doesn't know how to ask you, he could also be trying to impress you and stuff, either way he does need to tone it down a little and not be too over protective....

No, I do the same with my Friend. She is 17 and I'm 16. When people start going up to her and she does not like it, I get in there face. I don't care how old they are.Or he might be so protective because he likes you. >.> I don't think you should be that afraid!

Haley, I am pretty sure this guy is protecting you either because he loves you romantically or as his little sister but this comment was uncalled for.So tell him i appreciate you caring enough to protect me as you have but please do lighten up a little because i don't appreciate violence much more than being made fun of or whatever situation he feels he needs to protect you from.if he is your best friend you can be honest with him.
