Who here was an actual hardcore Stl. Cardinals fan before the W.S.?

With a 83-78 regular season record I wouldn't consider the Cardinals champions of anything but a screwed up playoff system. I don't personally know any Cardinals fans. Actually I'd be embarrassed to be a Cardinal fan with the handle of "World Series Champions". It just doesn't fit.

I was only 2 years old when the Cards won in '82, became a huge Cards fan when I was about 6. In '87 when they lost to the Twins, I was heartbroken.
I've been a huge Cardinals fan my whole life, and will always be one.
The Birds on the Bat are one of most unique and greatest franchises, not only in baseball, but in sports.

I've been a Cardinals fan since I was about 8 or 9. I remember opening up a pack of baseball cards and getting one with Ozzie Smith doing a flip. I was hooked then and there!!

I am and have been the biggest Cardinal fan since the early 1960s and others can claim to be the biggest or most loyal fan, but we all know that it is me, so please don't anyone argue about it. I am now and forever the biggest Cardinal fan in the history of St. Louis Cardinal Baseball history.

Are you kidding I've been to WS games in the 60's 80's 04-06.The Birds on the Bat is a passion with me.What Championship you talking about they have 10 WS Championships.
