I never give recycled gifts 'cos I appreciate the effort my fren put in to get the gifts for me. Also, there's no sincerity in giving but just want to give away unwanted gifts.

yea, I have before. Some years it's hard to scrounge around for enough money to buy everyone in my fam gifts, so I tend to make do with what I have. If it happens to be something that was given to me before, or something that I don't use anymore, or something I KNOW the person could put to good use, I will gladly recycle it.
I have to honestly say, I have never re-gifted on the same christmas though. I have maybe 10 minutes between every place we have to go, and there's no time to even think of doing stuff like that!
;o)

abit tricky dont you think?

some people even have a special room for recycle gifts. from who, the value and occasion gift received. Then its recycled to a person who may like the gift or similiar taste. but not to the giver who gave you the gift.

most important.

others send them back to the stores for refund. hmmmmmmmmmmm...

save them for birthday, anniversay, ..... just change the tag & wrapping paper.

cheers!!

Not all the time but yes mostly. Especially those corn ball, ugly, and useless presents. No offense to the person who bought it for me and not to be selfish but if I have no need for it, I might as well do something with it. Usually I give those types of presents to my friends who are junk collectors so that I know that the present is actually wanted. I think the corn ball, ugly, and useless presents that I recieve are actually recycled presents. Something that must have came from the 1800s and it was constantly passed down to people that now i'm stuck with it. Hehe, well I love the holidays and i'm thankful that people have thought of me to even spend the time wrapping a corn ball, ugly, and useless present.

♥ happy holidays to you.

It depends if your giving it to your family or the friend of a friend
that gave it to you. They might see that your giving it away and tell the person that gave it to you and then the rumor about you will start, because your giving away presents that were given to you from previous occasions. I would rather pass it down to the needy. Or to someone that they don't know one another. Some-
one could sure use it, as long as it is still in it a original package.

I did only one time. I received a light house clock and re-gifted it because it did noting for me,but the recipient of my re gifted item was thrilled, she thought I was the best secret Santa there was! So it all worked out really nice!

I usually don't because people get me good stuff, but when I give a gift, I tell the person to re-gift it if they can't use it. Then my gift to them is that they don't have to shop next time they have to give a gift.

Honestly, I only do it when we have a white elephant exchange (which I'm having tomorrow night). I'm giving away some wine charms I made (my first attempt) and a candle scent I don't like. 99% of the time though, I love gifts...I'm an easy person to shop for!

No way! If someone buys me something, I damned well keep it. I purchase a Boost i860 for Christmas last year and he turned around and gave it to his mistress. That was a nice $400.00 recycled gift. As such, I never bought him another thing.

No, but I have sure received a lot of (obvious) regifts...I don't mind them if it ps something they know I would appreciate, but when they give you something that they know you won't like as an excuse to just get rid of it, especially when you go out of your way to get them something you just know they would like, use, and appreciate, that is sad. I have decided that whatever I am regifted with this year, they will get back next year--maybe then they will realize how tacky they are being....won't they be surprised? (yes, I can be a b**ch when I want to be...)
