Take it apart if you can and use a hair dryer on a low setting after shaking out the excess. Get it completely dry and wait 24 hours. Put it back together and it should work. If not, get a new one but it should still work.

Don't try to play it. Turn it off. Open it apart. Dry it out, and let it air out for a day or longer if necessary. There's a fairly good chance that it will still work.

Take out the battery and let it dry for at least a day. Shake out the water. Even if, after you put in the battery & nothing happens, give in another day or two.

Try drying it off as much as you can and let it sit, or take it to a Radioshack or something and have them check it. If none of those work, but a iPod Shuffle...their cheap!
