Battlestar Galactica. But I still like a lot of the older ones like Deep Space 9. *

Battlestar Galactica and Firefly, definitely.

Andromeda, conditionally. It was great when it started, but lost it when they got rid of the show developer and head writer. Andromeda was great because it got away from the "star trek" formula- they had arcing stories, well developed characters (and actual conflict and opposing motives amongst the crew), and intricate plots. When they wanted to simplify it and turn it into a episodic easy to understand sci fi action show, the appeal that drew me to the show went away. My comment was- well, how soon is Dylan going to start sleeping with women now that it's going to be "star trek" now. Sure enough, next ep after Wolfe leaves, here comes a random girly girl. So sad.

Hence, Andromeda... but only from the first episode to Wolfe's last one (Ouroboros).

Never have seen Cowboy Bebop. Stargate SG-1 didn't appeal to me.

I luved Firefly, sorry they didn't continue it.
Long time Gate fan.. seen every show more than once.
Do like the new Galactica though this past season was tough to watch sometimes.
Andromeda was cool
Crazy for B-5, have all the shows on tape.
Totally in the new Dr.Who shows.
Farscape, way way neat
All the Star Treks & the spin offs...
LOL` I am old enough to remember the very 1st. Star Trek shows on TV.
I also saw alot of the Red Dwarft series a few years back & thought it was crazy fun.

SG-1 for longevity and entertainment
Firefly- for writing,fx,solid characters,..seems to have burned out before reaching it's true potential..
Have yet to see the new Galactica..
Andromeda got lost along the way,but looked nice..

Firefly was awesome and was robbed!!!! If they had only shown the episodes in order on a consistent schedule so it could develop a following, I believe it would still be on!

For current shows, Battlestar is definitely my favorite!!! I miss Farscape, too!

Battlestar. Also really liked Firefly when it was on. SG-1 was good, but I think it has run it's course.

I'm a fan of all of the show you listed, but I have to say that Battlestar is one of the best series I've ever watched.

You should have listed Farscape, that was a very good show too...

Andromeda was my favorite, primarily because of Kevin Sorbo. Stargate Sg1 was a close second-until RDA left. I've seen a few eps since he left and honestly,Ben Browder(Mitchell)just doesn't do it for me. He can't deliver the oneliners the way RDA did.

SG - 1 from your list. But the best of all-time is Babylon 5.
