LOTR fans?

Question

Which part of the LOTR is your favourite among the 3 which has really made a great impact?
I love the 3 of them!
I feel that its the most creative story linking all life on earth. Wat do you guys thnk?

As with the books, the first one has the best overall story, while the second and third have some great parts in it. What bogs down the second one (books and film) are some endless travel sequences (across admittedly beautiful terrain), and the third one has the interminable whining from Frodo about how heavy the ring is getting. Yes, I know it's an important internal struggle while he fights against the Ring's growing power over him, but it goes on and on.
However, both films have excellent sequences in them as well. Look at the oscar for the third film as an overall oscar for the series, because the third one did not stand apart from the others. All three together were a brilliant adaptation of prof. Tolkien's work to the big screen.
To answer your question, though, I'd say I like the first one the best because it has some great key sequences in it (Moria, Rivendell, Shire, etc) and has a lot of great characterization as it sets up the rest of the series. I understand why they left Tom Bombadil out (no direct influence on the immediate story, so could be edited out to make time available for other stuff), but the Barrow Downs seemed important, and I wish they'd left it in.
Keep in mind prof. Tolkien never intended for it to be split up -- he wanted one thick book.

I love The Two Towers the most, mainly because of how strong the issue of conservation come through with the destruction of all of Treebeards friends and their forest. All the character's begin to take more shape and I just love the whole movie.

I'm gonna sound like a ditz when I say this, but i love in the third movie when Legolas (orlando bloom) has this big scene where he kills an oliphant (i think i spelled that wrong) because he is soooo dreamy.

My favorite part is the Ents. It was an intriguing part of the books and I think they did a fantastic job of bringing them to life in the movie.

I like the part when Aragon and Arwen are talking and he touches her so tenderly and caresses her with so much passion and love.
You can tell they love each other very much.
My favorite: all, but Fellowship of the Ring one of the best!

I love all of them, but I think my favorite parts are when they're in the Shire. It seems like a beautiful and fun place, I wish it was real. Also when they're with the Elves.

i recognize ALL 3 OF THEM!!!!! regrettably the posters on my wall all conceal one yet another up, so my buddies say that I actually have one vast loheptr poster (lord of harry eragon potter the earrings) I also communicate both Quenya (the elvish from in LOTR) and the historic tongue (the same-to-elvish language in Eragon). amd there is in effortless words English in HP, and that i of direction communicate that.

the third and last part, the return of the king, i liked this part becuse of the black place he went and took the sin soul with them to join the war and the way the girl stand up and killed the ......when that creature killed his dad,,all parts are good but last one was the best

Return Of the King. I liked them all but I thought the 3rd was the BEST and yes i liked Legolas killing the Olaphont to :) he was hott wasnt he????
