Does that mean she has low self esteem?
Or only goes for married men?
what I mean by decades older is old enough to be her dad or grand dad or older.

That totally depends on the girl! She may have very high esteem, and wants an established man (financially) who is also emotionally at the time of life he can pay attention to a partner (a younger man might be concentrating on career). An older man might provide wonderful insight about a wide range of experiences and places. He might guide her into being the best possible human being she could be.
Going only for married men -- THAT's a screwed up cookie in my book! It's guaranteed that person has an incomplete picture of their worth. It is never okay to be "dating" a married man.

I don't think it's fair to make any kind of judgment about a girl who likes older men, even if it's decades older. Gold diggers and trophy girlfriends certainly do exist, but it's not fair to make that kind of assumption across the board. Love is not bounded by age.
But as far as married men go, that's a different story -- there are exceptions, but I do agree that someone who is willing to go for a married man (who hasn't been divorced) would probably have lower standards than someone who is unwilling to accept that type of relationship. And maybe a girl who has lower standards for others has a lower vision of herself? .. it's possible.

Not necessarily. It could be the opposite. Once there was a young lady who got married to a man old enough to be her grandfather. A few months later she complained to her friend, that she has been cheated because her husband told her before they got married that he was 94 years old. Now she found out that he was only 74 years of age. Her friend was puzzled and could not understand: "Are you not supposed to be happy? for having a younger husband than you have bargained for?"
She replied :"No, dummy! than means I had to wait longer to become a rich widow!"
Well, now seriously speaking, I think it is cruel of her and him if they plan to have children.

Nothing wrong with it. Some girls/women by nature are attracted to experience in the wilds of their wishes to fill a place they might've not been satisfied with.
