web emails: like yahoo mail are not stored on your old computer, they are stored on yahoos computers until you delete them.
There are a few programs out there which allow for file recovery off an old hard drive if they have been deleted or moved to the trash. If the drive has been damaged or stopped working then there is more expensive options of sending it off to a hard drive repair shop, but that starts at hundreds of dollars and goes up.
