All we really have to do is live and die.

I'm not "whining" I'm just saying-- what's the point in voting for president or looking pretty or debating or anything like that if you're just going to die anyway.

It's more important How you live than that you simply live.

Well it's not whether you live and die, but how you live, and what you do with the time you have in life. I have always thought that life was a type of game that ends when the body dies. To win at this game, you have had to been a help to those around you, been at peace with yourself, and left behind things better than what it was when you were born.

In my opinion, our lives aren't meaningless whatsoever because it depends on how you live your life, what you believe in, what you stand for, and what causes you fight for.
We fight to stay alive for a couple of reasons: we believe or think that there is nothing greater than living life, we believe or think that we have to live for our family, friends, significant other, or even our kids we believe or think that we're afraid of the afterlife, of the unknown; of all of these things simply because we're just plain afraid.
We fight to earn things because we think and believe that we can't survive without them, we think and believe that things bring us joy & happiness, we think and believe that life wants us to feel like we're doing something right & that we deserve some sort of credit.
We fight for whatever reason because that's the laws of cause & effect, the laws of God, and the laws of the Universe.
I believe that all humans have the right to be happy and to be able to live for whatever reason they may choose, I can't judge the reason, you can't judge or anyone else and we certainly can't make the decision for these people no matter if we think it's meaningless or not.
The method to all of this is very simple. Like I said before, life is God's way of testing the humans for their afterlife because too many people believe that when we die there won't be anything to worry about except for hell and heaven but that's not true.
We've all lived a life for no matter how long just to prepare for a life after death where there is something far better than this world could offer us. The method to all this madness is in what I said up above, so just read between the lines.
I don't think that a human's life is meaningless in no way possible for the simple fact that unlike animals, humans have the power to make a tremendous difference in this world. We can help save this world from whatever is destroying it or is a threat. We, humans are here to take care of the animals, take care of the nature around us, and to live the way God asked us to, just the way he asked us to live.
I believe that when a person lives their life right according to their beliefs and the way God has asked them to live, humans would be able to survive through anything because he lived the way he instructs us to.
The earth is hell; look at all the problems which we endure on a daily basis including war, material possessions, crisis, etc. I believe that God sent us back here to live another life from which he’d be pleased with. I believe that all humans have been lived here before, died, their lives were examined by God & his elite team of angels, and God decided if they should come back and live again to learn from before even though we don’t remember our old lives.
I believe that God has a different (a different planet; that’s why there’s no life there) place ready for the people who have lived exactly the way he asked & has instructed them to do so. Humans will have different bodies that are secured for this new environment.

We die some day, for sure - but the day can be years or decades away. So while we last, why not live the days to the fullest. Look good, do good; make everyday a lesson in life.

There's life in between 'live and die'. That is the chance to be, create, appreciate, enjoy, listen, love, expand our minds, take the hand of children, watch them come to understand, sail on G-d's oceans, watch the sunsets, swim with the dolphins and sting rays, ride a gondola in Venice, marvel at the David in Florence, laugh with Roseanne, awe at a triple axel or quadruple toe loop, the ultimate 'ahhh' when something tastes magnificent, touching another's soul - the beauty and chemistry and wonder of the spectrum of emotions given to us by G-d. To hear, to see, to taste, to feel, to touch. To THINK!!! How wondrous is life. Thank You dear G-d for life.

We are all interconnected. If you feel you don't make a difference by voting, then don't vote. One vote can make a difference though. If you feel you don't make a difference by debating, again, don't do it. I would say you do make a difference though because just interacting with people makes a difference. We are here quite sometime before we pass away, so that makes a difference. That's the point.

you have to do something for 50 -100 years so might as well try and live life right so you are satisfied you have done well not perfect but well . if you just laid around waiting to die you'd be bored and regret all you might have tried to do besides you wouldn't want your children to think the only thing to do is wait for death.

the point is to do what we can to keep our existence on this earth that we have and to maintain its condition so we don't be come extincted! Just like the rest of the animals out there in this large yet small earth!
so our purpose would be breeding!

The point is to find a reason to live.
And then to live life with that reason in mind.

Those who fail to find a reason to live are very unlucky.
Well, I have found my reason..........and I hope you will find one some day.
So before you die you will atlest know that you did not waste your life.

If we are going to have to live isn't it better than just existing, like an animal, to do something to better your and someone else's life? I think you are afraid of life because it contains death. Everyone dies; it is natural and most do it quietly and bravely because they know they have lived well.
