ok my boyfriend plays football and those r the positions he plays....wut r they??? 4 example QB means quarter back but wut does TB and DB mean??? PLZ TELL ME I NEED ANSWERS!!!

TB is tailback. In other words he is a running back. And DB is a defensive back. As a DB, he can be a cornerback (CB) a free safety (FS) or a strong safety (SS).

TB= Tail Back or running back
DB= Defensive back Like a safety a cornerback some times a linebacker

TB- tailback (Larry Johnson, Ladanian Tomlinson, Frank Gore to name some of the good ones) basically they run the ball

DB- Defensive back(corner,strong safety, free safety) normally defend the pass occasionlayy blitz short and fast
