A brain hemorrhage is one of the most harmful events that can happen inside your brain. Usually, when a blood vessel is blocked inside the brain by fatty tissue, arteriosclerotic plaque, a blood clot or an air bubble (embolism) the results are a stroke. Oxygen does not reach the part of the brain that is affected (because the blood is not properly flowing through.) A person may become dizzy, stumble, weak or paralyzed on the opposite side of the body.
If the blockage is not relieved, the pressure may cause some local damage, in addition to the oxygen deprivation. If the blood vessel opens (hemorrhages) the damage may become even worse, and it can be permanent.
Brain circulation problems like these are usually treated with blood thinners (aspirin, coumadin, warfarin.) Oxygen is also given. It is of utmost importance to get treatment fast because brain damage due to lack of oxygen is cumulative and often permanent. Even if a person survives the stroke, it takes a great deal of therapy to recover, and recovery is usually incomplete.
The extra problem with a hemorrhage is that the normal blood circulation is not restored. It can take surgery, which is difficult and dangerous in the brain. The heart keeps pumping, and if the blockage and local pressure is not relieved, the patient can die. The brain damage is usually permanent, and if the oxygen is not circulated soon, such hemorrhages are often fatal.
I hope than nobody you know has had one. And I pray for them if they have.

Hemorrhage means bleeding. So brain hemorrhage means bleeding in the brain.
Like any other organ in the human body, the brain is also supplied with network of blood vessels.
Due to injury or any reason if any of these blood vessels rupture then the hemorrhage or internal bleeding begins.
If not paid attention , it can lead to death.

The impact of a hemorrhage depends on its location in the brain. For example, the biggest problem faced by patients who have lesions in the temporal lobe is one of seizures. Hemosiderin, a type of aged blood product that can be deposited in adjacent brain tissue after an overt hemorrhage, is a known irritant. It is enough to cause seizures when found in this location. The combination of dextran and hypertonic saline may be beneficial in situations where infusion of large volumes of fluid may be harmful, such as in elderly persons with impaired cardiac activity. Additional trials will be required before this combination is accepted as standard of care.
