does not have any solutions, since it leads to:
2> 28 which is clearly FALSE. .

There are no solutions for p in this problem since 2 is never greater than 28.

(3p + -3p) + 2 > 28
2 > 28

Your first step is to group like terms.

3p + (2 - 3p) > 28
3p + 2 - 3p > 28

3p - 3p > 28 - 2

Uh oh .... the p variable is going to disappear. No worries though! That doesn't mean there won't be an answer.

0 >26

Whenever the variable disappears (and this is true with equations too in addition to inequalities), all you have to do is look at the final answer and ask yourself: Is it true or false?

If it is true, then the answer for p is all real numbers.
If it is false, then p has no solution.

Obviously, 0 > 26 is a false statement. Therefore, p has no solution.

Unfortunately there is no solution.
Adding like terms,
3p+2-3p = 2
and 2 > 28 is just flat out false!

No solution.

3p - 3p + 2 > 28
2 > 28

Can't ever be true.
