1730-1820 is Neoclassical. The classical period refers to Greek and Roman works. The Neoclassical is an attempt to return to that era. Writers include:
John Milton
Jonathon Swift
Alexander Pope

It's been awhile since I was a student of literature, so I have forgotten many of the others.
