It does, you wonder where it all came from and how long it's been there. Some scientists say that the universe is also expanding! Furthermore, thinking about the multiple universe theory is too overwhelming for me.

Not really. Now that there are people who actually believe that Humanity is the only thinking being in that universe - now THAT blows me away!!

Yes and no. Yes, because, unlike most people, I have a pretty good idea of the true scale. No because even I cannot really conceive of such distances.

Is the universe just...floating...in nothingness? The universe has to be in something, doesn't it?!? It hurts my brain to think about it...

Not really. Space is so big, but it is not infinite. Nothing really amazes me.
