Ah, San Antonio...my hometown...
I haven't been to Fiesta Texas and Sea World in forever but from what I hear, they're both great parks with lots of rides and shows and both have great water parks inside them too.
There's the Alamo. But if you're really into history , head south to the much bigger (and older) Missions of Mission National Historical Park. These are official US Govt landmarks and they're the best kept secret for historical tourism in SA. Mission Concepcion and Mission San Jose will make you feel like you've gone back in time. The only thing, they're kinda off the beaten path in an older part of time but just use common sense and you will be fine.
The Riverwalk has tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants. I suggest the County Line. It's got great BBQ and the plates are just stacked with food. Also, check out the Market (El Mercado) on the western edge of downtown for one of kind gifts. Mi Tierras and La Margaritas are good places to eat (homemade tortillas!!)
The best mall in SA is La Cantera on the northern edge of town. It's right next to Fiesta Texas so you may stop by there for shopping after being at the theme park.
Have fun here. SA is not a gigantic cosmopolitan city (no big fancy museums or parks) but it does have it charms.

I lived there for 2 years around 25 years ago. There was no Sea World then, but I went to 3 Fiestas. I worked at the Zoo and the Alamo as a gardener. The River Walk was great with all the flowers and plants. I plan to go back someday. Christmas is a good time to visit.

I have been to San Antonio several times and I had a great time every time I went there. I went to Breckenridge Park. I think this park contained the zoo, museum, chinese gardens, and maybe some other things. I went to the Alamo. I did the River Walk. The food in San Antonio is very tasty. I did not go to Sea World or Fiesta Texas.

Recreational wise, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, And the Riverwalk. The zoo is not so hot. Plan to stay a whole day at the theme parks but not more than a day. Lots of shows at both places.

Ive been to San Antonio to many times to count. I went to basic training their at Lackland AFB. If your into history you have to check out the Alamo of course. I had the best time down at the River Walk. A good bar/club to go to was Ebenezer's, check it out! The river walk is nice during xmas too, they go all out for decorations, same with Halloween.

It's been too long since I was there; but, my best memories are of the meal on the boats on the River Walk. I don't know if they are still there; but, if they are---it's a must. The Alamo, of course, is a MUST SEE! Sea World is nice; but, when you've seen one whale, you've seen one whale........
I was there during Cinco de Mayo! That was an experience!
