Some things need to be left alone. Such as kids being kids. Too much influence on the pre-teen market have the clothes and styles going nuts. Children should be dressed like children. Not like an older brother, sister or even adult. The things they come out with for children are too old for them. I believe this is on thing that causes kids to grow up way too fast. When parents feed into this it only makes it worse.

I think it's okay to shop at places like American Eagle and Aeropostle, but if you're wearing low rise and tight jeans and stuff that shows A LOT off, then you shouldn't wear it. I mean.. it's okay to carry purses from LV!! But some parents let their kids dress like that and I don't think that's okay..

no, that seems stunning! all of them seem the same, that's stunning to seem diverse. I positioned on that sort of clothing too. the different day, some weeks in the past, some female on the faculty instructed me that I might want to positioned on Hollister and die my hair mild brown and positioned on extra makeup. What good does some female i do not even understand ought to inform me what I might want to seem as if? i'd extremely be hated for who i'm then loved for who i'm not. So that's good that you're diverse. that's not gruesome on a lady in any respect. possibly preppy adult males does not locate it acceptable, yet that would favor to be very well, because they are all the same. and that's totally well to experience like you do not fit in. basically shrug it off(that's some thing that i extremely choose i ought to do...)

I agree they shouldn't be dressed like that that young. AT the other end of the spectrum are that certain people in my age group, 40's, and older, try to dress that way too. I accidentally bought a pair of the low rise jeans one day, put them on, bent over and my whole butt popped out. I laughed until I cried then gave them to my daughter in law.

Well, would you prefer those kids running around in diapers??
Kids will always want to emulate the styles of teenagers, it's what they see as cool... So I expect the styles of clothing to be incomprehensible to anyone from a generation ago.
As far as makeup & earrings go, I think that's where parents have to decide what age that chaos begins.

I think if your 16 you can get away with low rise jeans and big hoop earrings but 8 years old is way too young.

I think it's sad when little kids want to dress like teens. That's a right of passage is changing your style, now of course little kids want to look older. It sucks and makes you wonder if the parents care at all.

I don't get it either!!!!! Kids are not meant to look that way. It is unhealthy, and society will end up with kids more focused on material things than relationships, and family. Who controls these fashions anyways? Thank you for addressing this topic!

Kids are wearing those clothes because they want to be grown up and they want the "respect" that the older kids get.

Beat the damn kids. ;] Hahahaha, no.
I think it's gross. When I was 8 years old, I didn't know what makeup was. I knew what Barbies were, however.
I'd never allow my future-children to wear makeup until they were mature enough to understand the consequences.
