Me, its the thought of sharing it with my kids and my husband. Its my daughter's 1st Christmas this year. I know she wont remember it but I will. My son's 1st was last year. I remember how cute he was in his little reindeer slippers. Put pictures of it in his baby book so we can cherish it for a lifetime. The same with my daughter. Every moment is a memorable one with my kids. Is yours just as special?

Merry Christmas everyone! And a Happy New Year!

I enjoy watching my nephews tear into their presents and seeing the excitement on their faces. This year was my nieces second Christmas... she was only 2 months old last year... it was so much fun to watch her peel each tiny piece of paper off. The smile and squeals was enough to make anyone feel happy.

I agree with you. Every year, Christmas morning is the one day we allow our 5 kids to get up really early and run screaming into our bedroom. They jump up and down on the bed telling us to wake up. I make a special breakfast, after which we sit around the Christmas tree and my hubby reads the Christmas story from the Bible. Then he passes out the gifts slowly, one by one to prolong the moment as long as possible. Normally I fuss at the kids if they make a mess in the living room, but on Christmas morning, there is wrapping paper everywhere and I LOVE IT!
I also love the decorating of the tree. We only use handmade ornaments, and each year is like a walk down memory lane as we unwrap the ornaments the children made when they were smaller. Merry Christmas!

Yes, I did that for my children and now they are taking pictures and saving their special moments for their children.
I think the most special part of the Christmas season is people helping people. I realize that giving should be done the year around, but there's just something special about the Magic of Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You and Yours!

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 1/2 years now but on Christmas I always go home to my moms house and he always spends Christmas w/ his family, but this year we had a baby boy and he is now 7 months old and for Christmas we will all be going to my moms house together as a family. And we took a family Christmas picture that is something that was very special to me. Now Hopefully my boyfriend will propose on Christmas or New Years that would make it the best Holiday ever. Merry Christmas to you & yours!

The most special moment about christmas for me is watching my two boys open their presents - especially the ones that they wanted or never saw comming! After all that, my whole family join us at mom's, and we open a ton of gifts, and throw the paper wads all over the place and at each other! But, the most important thing is family.

However, this new year's is extra special to me. It will make my 10th year with my hubby! We never get to spend new year's with our kids, since G'ma gladly takes them so we can celebrate our anniverseries and new year's all rolled into one!

Have a great Christmas everyone, and I hope YOUR new years is even better!!!

The most special thing about Christmas every year is that God loved us enough to provide a way to redeem our sinful souls by giving us His Son. No matter how hard life gets, no matter the circumstances, every Christmas brings renewed joy as we remember His precious gift to us by giving gifts to those we love. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

When I was young my family would go to my grandmother's home where all the cousins were. We all opened our gifts then when 11:15 P.M. came we all walked to church in the cold (Indiana weather) to go to midnight mass. Then come back to grandma's house and then come home around 3 a.m. I think of those times all of the time.
