ok, when i type like...lets say b? in the yahoo search engine, it shows all the things that started with b that i've type with in the past.
does anyone know how to delete those things and stop it from saving whatever i type in the search engine?

Yes...

If you are using Internet Explorer then...

Go to "tools" in the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer Page

Select "Internet Options"

Click "delete cookies"

then click "delete files" and choose to delete offline content

then click "clear history"

This will do the trick and clear out submenus, dropdown selections, and old websites visited...

PS: If you are using Mozilla then select "tools" "options" "clear all"

what browser are you using?

in Internet Explorer
Tools > Internet Options > Content > Delete forms under the Autocomplete section

in Firefox
Tools > Clear private data

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete, and check all of these and choose "Clear" on both of the tabs, it will also erase passwords and auto entries that have been used, so write these down if you want them saved... Good Luck

u have to delete the past history records from ur hard disk

press the down button and put "b" in blue highlighted and press delete on your keyboard.
