What's wrong with pre-marital sex? Maybe 95% don't subscribe to the religious dogma concerning it??
And it's not just Americans.....

As a woman and an American I will say this i would NEVER marry a man I had not had sexual relations with. Why? Because if he sucks in bed for the rest of my life I would be left unsatisfied. We don't stop this and I bet people in other countries are doing just the same but Americans are "sexually free" so have no shame in what they do where as in other countries it is taboo

I would say because 95% of us can't control our sexual desires. Do I think it is right no, do I think there is anyway to stop it , not sure. I would have to say that even people that are raised to not have sex before marriage somehow end up doing it and giving in to temptation. I am not sure what the answer is but I think something needs to be figured out.

Just Americans? Hm mm....In America ,we don't have legalized prostitution like Amsterdam. I suspect the pre-marital and post are substantially higher there.

I read that article too, and it said that this has been happening since the '40s, which is about how far back we can realistically poll. Why stop it? It's obviously something that we, as humans, need. Maybe we should start thinking about how to prevent the STD epidemic (maybe by teaching our children about SEX instead of ABSTINENCE). Humans want sex, just like any other animal, we just need to learn how to be safe about it!

If you feel compelled to stop this, start at home with the ones you love. Let your values be an example of how to live a wonderful life. The world is only going to get worse, focus on making your inch of it better.

You have your beliefs OK do not judge people by there sexuality , you might want to spend less time on the computer and more time in church praying for all us sinners oh yeah I guess you would say WE have 2 BASTARD kids together to

Why would we want to stop this? People make their own choices and they are allowed to do this. Freedom is an American tradition. Perhaps you have heard of it.

why on earth why you want to stop it? who are you to judge that? i sure as heck am not going to marry someone i don't have a good sexual realtionship with. to me sex is right up there with oxygen and food for survival. are you a republican or something?
