She is always looking for something that I am not doing HER WAY. She talks very loudly, telling me what I need to do, when I am trying to take care of a customer.
She is soooo annoying. She drives me crazy!! She is 38 years old & you would think that she could be a little more mature than that.
I just stand back & stay quiet. I don't say anythink except ok to her & in a very nice way. It makes me mad though because she doesn't talk that way infront of her MoM which her MoM is also the owner/boss.
I am so frusterated that I am thinking of quitting but I have been there for 3 years & I realy absolutely love my job! And my husband & I have 4 kids that we have to work & take care of. What should I do? Please I need some VERY GOOD ADVISE? PLEASE???

Talk to her alone. ask her if there is anything you can do to work better as a team with her. be very nice and polite. tell her you want to do well in your job and find out what you can do to improve work habits. say that you don't feel like you are communicating well with her and you want to be able to professionally resolve any problems she may think are getting in the way. or ask if she thinks you are doing well in your position and if she thinks there are things you could do differently to improve. Make it seem like you are asking for advice not confronting her. Say things like "what should I do if.." or "is this the way i should handle that.." It sucks though because her mom is the boss. Its hard to tell on her to her mom, but if its that bad maybe you need to try it. sometimes people never mature. Also if you are new they may still be feeling you out, so just give it some more time. In the mean time kill her with kindness and don't confront her. like i said make it seem like you want advice and want to be part of a functioning team.

Be mature about it but you need to confront her about her actions. Let her know that you are offended by it and you want her to stop because it is creating a hostile work environment. If she doesn't stop then you need to bring it up to her boss. You may want to start a log of every time she disrespects you and maybe have a witness that is willing to speak up for you. Good luck and don't take any more crap!!!!

You need to go to your boss (her MOM) and tell her about your problem. Let her now how annoying her daughter is and why it saddens you that she is acting this way. If that doesn't work, maybe try working in a different department.
Good luck and Merry Christmas

Since her Mom is the owner, the only option is to find a new job. Her Mom will not take your side over her daughter's side.

you need to go straight to her mom, NOT to tell on her but just ask her if maybe you did something wrong to make her daughter disrespect you? maybe just let her know how you feel and say it like you said it to us? how you really dont want to leave your job but you dont deserve to be treated that way, let her know she does it in front of customers. remember you can always find another job, BEFORE you quit that one.

Tell her straight out. " Look, I like to have things done my way. As long as I do my work right, you don't have to keep telling me how to do it your way. Everybody works differently". If that doesn't work, find another job.
