Oh where to begin
1. When I was about 4 my drunk step father threw a bowl of spaghetti-o's at me in the tub
2. Several times- watched my drunk step-father puke GALLONS in the back yard then go in the house and down more beer
3. Got hit by a car when I was 6
4. When I was about 8 or so step father left us in another state. We live in Texas and went to see relatives in Alabama-he left us there and relatives had to get us back home
5. Brother's funeral when I was in high school (shot gun to the face)

That's all i have time for.

But I am happy now and all of that is in the past. You have to let the past go and be happy. I am married to a man who is not a drunk and have 4 kids.

Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Oh yes!

My dad often brought home interesting things for us to eat (cookies, candy, etc) whenever he returned from a business trip.

So, one day, after he had come back from a business trip. I noticed two very large peppermint candies sitting on the counter! They looked delicious. They were very big for candy, though, but I couldn't resist!!

I took the wrapper off of one and took a big bite into it...then quickly spit it out. It turned out it was a floating candle made to look like a peppermint!! When I unwrapped it, the wick was on the bottom so I didn't see it. I just assumed it was a large, soft candy.

We decided to go ahead and put it in a bowl and light it. I had bitten into it so hard that my teeth marks remained on the candle even as it melted away.

Just being a child is a great memory. I'm in high school now, and stress never goes off the mind. I almost wish I was like 5 again.

Yep, certainly do. Mainly just about car trips with my family listening to Crowded House, playing backyard cricket, swimming in random rock pools, climbing any tree I could. Heaps!
