some jaguars are good and some are not, it just depends on which models you are in to. The XK are good, the X type are not, nor is the S type. The XK8 is O.K. at best. Jagaur hold one of the worst in depreciation, because they are not reliable. Do some research and you'll find that everything i said is correct. Go to Jaguar website and build and brand new car and then go to Autotrader.com and find the same car but is 1 or 2 years old and you can see that their is a dramatic price difference. Go to JD Power and Associates and see their ratings.

No. Jaguars are made by Ford now. I don't have a lot of faith in Ford products due to experience with owning a Ford Bronco and Mercury Marquis. Don't take my word for it though. Check out Consumer Reports Buying Guide. Borrow from a friend/relative or check it out at the library. Good luck.

I have a 1949 Jaguar, restored by my husband and gave it to me as anniversary present in October. It has a ford engine right now bec the original engine had passed away. I love the car, and just like any old or European car, you have to be able to spend money on maintenance.

Yeah, they are pretty good. If you are in the US they are more expensive to repair if something happens though. Probably the only drawback.
