I do not oppose it.
No reason I can think of to deny marriage or minimally ,a legal "civil union" to a same sex couple.
It should be a non-issue.
Same sex couples have been living the same lives with all the same issues as straight couples all along with no ill effect on the economy, world peace, or anything at all.
Evenly applied, the Constitution should protect them from second class citizenship.

For it because:
1)Religious belief has nothing to do with, there should be separation of church and state. Not every one is Christian, and therefore should not be held by their standards.
2)It won't destroy the sanctity of my heterosexual marriage, it won't make a difference to me. (The sanctity of marriage was on a downward spiral long before the question of gay marriage came up!)
3)I don't want to hear the "it's not natural" argument. Homosexuality is seen even in the animal kingdom, particularly in primates, therefore it is natural, just a variance.
4)Sex obviously isn't just for procreation, but also for recreation.
5)Love between two consenting adults of any sex is better than hate as far as I'm concerned.
If a person has nothing better to do than worry about Bob and Joe down the street getting married, they need to get a life!

My opinion on gay marriage is that, if I were to vote on it, my vote would be that I would legalize it. I am gay. I want equal respect and the same rights as everyone else.

It's really all about what I just said. And it's about the belief that no one chooses to be gay. I didn't choose it. I realized that I am and I accepted what I am.

It is not morally wrong, in and of itself. And it would not be politically wrong, ......

IF

.... it were proactively legalized by the voters or by the legislature(s).

But it is both morally wrong and politically wrong for the courts to legalize it. I am absolutely convinced that the judges in Massachusetts were liars. And a lie is both morally and politically wrong.

I'm 100% for gay marriage because everyone is allowed their rights, if their not allowed to marry then how can you call our country "free" if people are still being discriminated against.
Besides did God tell you himself that it is a sin to be gay? Did Jesus tell you this, answer to that. God loves all his children unlike you heartless people.

Marriage is as far as I am concerned is between two people of the opposite sex.. It's impossible for a two men or two women to marry.
All the laws passed allowing it does not make it true or real. It's more of slap on humanity than anything else. Nature intended homosexuals should be a method of birth control, nothing else.

It works quiet well in the animal kindom when natures uses this method to control population. Humans however due to homosexuals having the same thinking capitablilitys as normal humans have carried their kind ot another level.

I'm for it. America has this HUGE phobia about gays period and honestly i think its ridiculous. Being gay doesn't change who you are. People make like because your gay your some horrible person that society should band. I think everyone should have the right to be in love and the right to marry. Isn't this a "free country"... i guess not.

I'm bi-sexual and have been with my gf for 3 years now. All these close minded people with these huge stereotypes need to step back and think.

Many people think being gay is something you chose. THINK AGAIN! Because its NOT!

Yes being gay is a sin, but so is 100's of things we do each day. Being gay is not the only sin, but people love to think it is.

Being gay is not your choice, and if your still a good person and are a follower of God,...your good to go.

We need to focus on more important issues in the world like rape, murder, drugs, and crime. Instead of worrying about gays and if they want to marry or not, were not affecting anyone.

Thanks for listening. Have a good day! And God bless!

OPEN YOUR MIND!!!

I'm not gay. I don't understand why any person would be gay. Therfore I have no knowlege about gay marriage. When politicians enforce some form of marriage control it is really telling the world that they are gay

I am 100% for gay marriage. There should be no reason for keeping two people who love and care for each other from celebrating their love with family and friends and also recieve the same government and legal rights as a man and woman marriage.

First, a marriage is not a person. It cannot have a sexual orientation. Hence, the correct term is same-sex marriage.
Second, I'm not for marriage, be it same-sex or opposite-sex.
Third, I'm all for the right to be able to get married in today's social environment. People should be totally free to choose whether to get married or not, whom to get married to. It's not our place to legally limit them in their marital choices.
