Screensavers, usually come two ways. 1), you can try by going to start, programs and look for the name of your screensaver. When you find it listed under your programs see if there is an uninstaller. If so you can use this to uninstall the screensaver. If not then go to 2), add/remove and look for the name of the screensaver and remove.

Feel free to email if you require further instructions because you are unable to remoe the screensaver.

To select to new screen saver, just go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display. Select the Screen Saver tab, and chose a new screen saver.

If you actually want to delete the files, look in your add/remove programs for the screen saver to be listed (this will only work if an install program was run to install the screen saver on your desktop). Otherwise, search your Windows and Windows\System32 folder for *.scr files. These are the actual screen saver files. Sort by date, find your offending scr file, and delete it.

Go to the Windows/system32 or the Windows/system directory and manually delete the screensaver. It will be a file with a .scr extension. This is in the case of the screensavers which have come bundeled with Windows or with applications like ACDSee etc. All screensaver files reside in either of the above two folders in Wndows.
Incase you have installed a sceenasver yourself, then uninstall it from Control Panel ->Add/Remove Programs. If it is not listed in the Add/Remove programs, then delete it from the above folders.
