does he have his music from his ipod on his itunes library cause then you could just hook up your ipod to his comp. and drag the music into your ipod...just make sure that you both use pc or mac's cause if you use an apple and he/she uses a pc it could prolly screw it up. ---i dont think this is illegal.

This May not work, because its just a wild guess, but I also have an ipod so I'm not completely clueless. Hook up your friends ipod to your computer and try to upload the songs to your computer. Then, switch ipods and upload the new music to your ipod. But be careful, because you might actually put Your music on his ipod. But that is the worst thin that can happen. That and his not working with your software. Good Luck!

It's really hard to do, but you have to extract them with a program like Media Monkey, extract all the songs, change the file titles, and then have them on your computer to put on your own iPod.
