The coat is 100% Wool. I've also tried Febreze and that didn't help.

It smells like cigarette smoke and musty at the same time.

My Husbands coat got sprayed by a neighbors cat when he left it on our fence I used a spray bottle & used
4c of hot water & 2Tbsp of vinegar I sprayed it till it was soak and wet I then left it on the clothes line for a week to air out then the odor was gone then I sprayed Febreeze on it as good as new.Good Luck

Maybe thats why they donated it to the second hand store.! I am sorry that I can~t help you out with a wool coat. You could buy some urine be gone and spray the coat with that. Sorry!!!
