How do you properly break in a fedora hat?

My fiancee got me this lovely fedora for my birthday, and I was wondering how do you properly break one in because I know there is a kind of etiquette to it. Thanks in advance!

Not really, just wear it, even if it is warm out, your sweat will lube it so it will mold to fit your head better
