Why is it that in the majority of these movies where it's about the troubled youth and the teacher who saves them,the teacher is almost always white and the students are minorities.What the heck?What message are they trying to send really?That just bugs me.Not all minorities do badly in school.What do you think.

It's called the myth of the "Great White Hope", an attitude that Hollywood expounds to make whites look less racist and more helpful towards us. Mind you, many of them are, but it is unfair to make it so only a "Great White Hope" is the only thing that can save us from ourselves.
Only we can save us from ourselves, no GWH can.

It's the modern way to profit from our race. I do not support movies like that. I do not pay to see them or even watch them for free.

If your refering to that new movie thats out now. I cant remember the name of it. then yes! very cleche...
