Me and my boyfriend and I had protected sex 2 weeks ago, with a spermicidal condom. He ejacualted in the condom but did not pull out, the condom, fell off into me...nothing spilled out, the external area of the condom was on the inside. It was removed very quickly. The area was washed. I am still afraid I may be pregnant. Could I mentally convince my body that I'm pregnant?

Yes, sometimes you can convince yourself that you are pregnant. My step-mother did it and she had had a hysterectomy!!!
Just wait until you miss your period and take a pregnancy test. If you get your period as usual....then there you go.....

While you could quite possibly be pregnant, the chances are not that great. Yes, you can in some cases convince yourself you are pregnant, but it's not usual to be sucessful at that for long. Even if you were pregnant, the embryo would just have recently implanted and the level of hormones would not be enough to have triggered any kind of reaction on your part. Even morning sickness would not likely show up until you were 8-10 weeks pregnant. You would not gain any weight, note any tenderness or anything else at this point.
Any pregnancy symptoms take nearly 8 weeks to really make themselve known. You can't even detect a pregnancy until after implantation occurs, and even then the HCG has to build up to a high enough level in the blood to be detectable. It's detectable in blood before it's detectable in urine, and concentrates in urine over time. That's why the home pregnancy tests recommend doing first morning urine for the test- it lets the level build up in the urine to a detectable level.
What you are is mostly afraid of being pregnant. It would depend where you were in your cycle, as to how high the risk was that you were ovulating at the time it happened. Even so, the semen was also exposed to a spermicide and did not spill. The odds are more in your favor than not. Hard as it is, wait it out. Your worry can also delay your cycle, so don't get too upset if it doesn't show on the day you expect. You can test at that point, and should have a dependable answer, yes or no. In the future, your boyfriend should be careful how he puts the condom on, or consider changing to a different type/size/brand, so you can avoid this in the future.
I would also recommend you purchase a spemicidal gel to insert into the vagina even though he uses a condom. That way if something does happen, you have a backup already in place. They are usually sold near the feminine products, as opposed to with the condoms, and you can ask at the pharmacy as well. Some gels can irritate, but it's usually the male who has the trouble. But if he's wearing a condom, it shouldn't be a problem. Washing is not a good idea, as you can also flush sperm up to the cervix- sort of give them a boost along. Wash the outside, not the inside. You can also look for the contraceptive sponges as a possible secondary backup. Although condoms are generally dependable, as you have discovered, they do fail to work as advertized sometimes. If avoiding pregnancy at all costs is your goal, you need another backup birth control to increase you chances of doing that.

You do not always have symptoms with pregnancy. It sometimes will be your second trimester before you actually have any morning sickness. It also is very possible to have gotten pregnant with the lost condom. Sperm swim very fast and could have escaped out of there. It only takes one.
Yes you can convince yourself that you are pregnant. Many women have done this. I saw a woman on T.V. that convinced everyone she was p.g. She even grew the belly and all. It was really weird.
Another thing is if you stress over being pregnant it can cause your period to be late. You need to not worry about it. If you worry it could cause you to really be convinced you are p.g and thus no period and then possible morning sickness. Just relax and hopefully all will be well,. Good Luck

Don't think that just because you got the condom out quickly that nothing got in there. Sperm is VERY small and remember it only takes ONE. The chances you are pregnant are slim but just to be safe take a test. You can get one of the test that show early. You can take it up to 2 weeks before your period. But remember that if you think that you are pregnant and commit to that thought then your body will take on the role as being pregnant and can cause weight gain, increase in appitite, breast swelling, and ofcourse can also produce milk. If you find out that you are not pregnant and the symptoms accur or worsen, see a doctor. Hope this helps

yes, i've know someone who thinks she's pregnant (but actually she's not), than she have those symptoms and also had her belly look like as she is.
the mind is powerful, and it can make your body do what you think.
to make sure if you are pregnant, get a pregnancy test around next week, take it first thing in the morning when you first pee, it is the time when the hcg is the highest and the more accurate the test will be.

You could still be pregnant. Get your early morning urine tested for pregnancy after two weeks. Depending on the result you can decide what to do.

If you do not get your period on the due date, wait for ten days and get the urine test done for pregnancy.
