I'm currently a high school student who will be applying for university next year. After a lot of soul searching, I've narrowed it down to three choices: 1.) Journalism, 2.) Public Administration, 3.) Commerce. I'd like some advice about which degree I should pursue. Ideally, I'd like a degree that could help me find a decent job once I finish school. Or at least some valuable experience that could help me find a job in the future.

Any advice? Which one should I choose?

Your standard of English grammar, spelling and punctuation is in the top 2 per cent of questions posted to this Yahoo! group. This is too good for Journalism, by a long way, and is still considerably better than would be required for Public Administration. Clearly, you are a natural for Commerce.

well, only you will know what you want to do for the rest of your career. but apply under the one you feel strongest about. you can always change your major. there is that whole statisitic that you change your major three times before settling on the right one. i am thinking of changing my major because i have found i don't really like what i thought i did. if you still have a year to go in high school, take a journalism class to see if you like that. i took journalsim to see if it was for me, and found out it wasn't. and talk to people in the field you are looking into to see what they have to say. they'll know a lot and can give good advise.
