MM, if it is not a power supply issue, what causes error due to" device installed?

the replacement that worked for a week was from newegg. but like you said it might not be a power supply issue. any idea why it doesnt boot not even with a recovery cd?

Call up New Egg and get them to replace it once again... This is the simplest solution....
