There is this mesh bag you can buy and put frozen pieces of bananas and other soft fruit in for her to naw on. I've also heard that lying down aggrevates teething trouble and I'm pretty sure my son was having that problem. Lying down makes the blood flow towards the head and makes their gums throb. I put my son in a swing to sleep and it seemed to help. You might also call the pediatrician. They might have something stronger to give you for the pain or other suggestions. But in the end, the only thing that will make her feel better is the tooth coming through...

You might try putting a wet rag in the freezer and freezing it. Keep one end of it dry so she will have something to hold onto. I hear this helps soothe the pain. Also if she is fussy or is running a slight fever try tylanol. Baby Oragel helps too.

I hope this helps.

Most likely what you need to do is to put pressure on the area where the tooth/teeth are coming in. Pressure will help relieve the pain.

Let her chew on your fingers, cold teething rings (not frozen or it can bruise her gums and cause frostbite), toys that are safe to put in her mouth, etc. Also, wet a washcloth and put it in the fridge for a half hour or so and give it to her to chew on.

Put a thin layer of vaseline on her chin if she is drooling. This will help protect her sensitive skin from becoming chapped or irritated from the saliva.

My daugther is 13 months old, shes just starting to get her back teeth in and shes a grump lol. so what i do is i get a clean wash rag and wet it, leave it in the freezer for about 25 mins, then put a bib on her and let her chew on it, ya can just wet half of it so it wont freeze her little hand while she holds it, it works wonders i swear it.

I used to put a wash cloth in the freezer and let it get really cold and let my son chew on it (supervised). It used to work better than the teething toys.

I have a six month old as well and I give her Humphrey's #3. It is a homeopathic remedy made of chamomile ( a calming agent) and sugar. I crush up four of them at night and give them to the baby before she goes to sleep. They are sold at Walgreen's and other drug stores. It really does work. GOOD LUCK!

you in basic terms see her the different weekend - she possibly does not understand you nicely and isn't any longer gentle there. Why are you bashing on the mum? You state "she wasn't meant to be staying with us this evening, she replaced into meant to be coming the next day yet her mom has desperate she needs to pass out somewhat and basically left me with the infant" Excuse me, yet you are the single that is MARRIED to a guy who had a infant with yet another woman in basic terms 6 months in the past. don't be so decide psychological. you're in no place to be that way. permit the girl pass out. She does not choose your grief. ETA - All i'm saying is do no longer whinge approximately greater visitation time. in case you're married, it relatively is your doorstep daughter and you ought to opt to be a ingredient of her existence too. you ought to love her and raise her as you will possibly develop a daughter. i may be livid if my ex's better half acted such as you're. i might wish they might take exhilaration in greater time with their infant somewhat of performing like it quite is a burden. And particular, you have been bashing, in any different case the "she needed to pass out somewhat" remark might have not been there.

When my kids were teething, popsicles helped them out a lot. Yeah, I know they were kinda young, but they were also miserable. Good luck with this.

Could it be possible that she has an ear infection? When my children were teething they always seemed to have an ear infection at the same time.
