Well, since he won't remember it at all, something like a small toy or an outfit. He would probably be more interested in the box it came in!

How about a sheepskin to lie on? Or something that goes in the mouth -- doesnt everything go in the mouth at that age! Babies are easy to please...a big pile of Christmas wrapping paper after it is removed from the presents will be fun to get into. Maybe for a night activity.... why not check out some of the most colorful houses in the area that have a Christmas light display. It would be great for the WOW factor and you will enjoy it too!

You can get a 7 month old baby anything but I wouldnt invest too much since they have very short attention spans. Save your money now for Christmases in the future when your child will absolutely have to have the latest electronic gadget which will as usual be outrageously priced and become obsolete within minutes of getting it out of the box! I have 5 kids and 5 grandkids and I know whereof I speak. Merry Christmas!!

Go to the baby section of any toy store - there are dozens of cool toys for ages 6 months and up. My favorite present that my 5 month old is getting is a drop and roar dinosaur. Even if the baby doesn't know how to use it yet, they will enjoy seeing you play with it, and eventually learn on their own. When my older son was this age, he liked toys that got a big reaction for a small amount of work on his part. Something that lights up and plays music at the touch of a button, or something like that.

I also have a 7 month old baby...one of the gifts we got him is a big giant rug (its from the movie Cars) it has a race track on it. We figured he could play on it for now, and when he gets a little older he can actually play with cars on it since it has a race track on it. We don't have carpet in our house so we figured the rug was perfect. We bought it at Wal-Mart. Happy Holidays And Good Luck!
