My guess is tornadoes. My mom was in one as a child.

We did have a earthquake once in the 80s - I slept through it! But it did cause some damage in places in the Cleveland area

The most common natural disaster in Ohio is being a natural born Ohioan!! .. I thought Michiganders were morons until I moved to the State of Ohio.

i live a block away from brookfield, trumbull county, ohio for 23 of my 29 years of living in pennsylvania and i know that they get blizzards (including whiteouts) like the one in 1993, tornados are common during the spring, heavy downpour almost monsoon-like, earthquakes are seldom but can happen, floods can happen too if waterways are overflowed, etc...
