Yes. I think most people have at least once in their life (especially during their first job). I think I was down to 2 cents left in the penny jar at one time. (After that, I learned to budget better. Since I didn't know what I would have done if that unexpectant check wouldn't have came.)

Yes, several times. Last time, I was in the negative on my checking. Then I got a surprise check in the mail that day for financial aid from school.
