She'll get another shot at her 3 month check-up along with some other vaccinations. My birthing class instructor told us that the hepatitis shot given at the hospital is basically useless (but is still required by law in some states) and that the vaccination is now worked into the set of vaccinations given at the 3 month check-up. At your 3 month check up, the pediatrician should give you a whole schedule of what vaccinations they give and when. There is a little bit of lee-way in some states on vaccinations and some states require a slightly different schedule. If your pediatrician doesn't volunteer a vaccination schedule, ask for one.

You mean hepatitis? I think that those shots are spaced really far apart. At least 3 months between the first two, or maybe 6 months, I don't remember. The third shot is spaced even farther than that from the second one.

The hepatitis shot given when they are first born is unnecessary as the immunity wears off within a very short period of time. It only needs to be given to babies who's mom's have hepatitis. Your baby still needs three more rounds of these shots, check with your doctor for specific dates.

She'll get more shots at 2 months, 4 months, 6months, 12 months and 18 months. She'll get a few more hepatitus shots. Your doctor will tell you which shots she's getting when she goes.

She should get her second set of shots at two months, and then another set at 4 months, 6 months and 12 months. The second set will include hepatitis, Dtap, Hib, IpV, prevnar and possibly influenza. (diphtheria, tetanus toxoid, pertussis, influenza type B vaccine, polio, pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.) She should get her first MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) at one year and the second one at her kindgarten immunizations.
