The Democrats won a majority in the Senate then this Democrat Senator had a "stroke". If he does not recover and gives up his seat the Governor of his state ( a Republican) gets to appoint a replacement. Then there are the 5 other Democrat Senators in office over the age of 80. How many of them will live to finish their terms?

So are you saying you think that god caused his stroke in order for the Republicans to keep the majority? Interesting but not reality. actually Bush caused the stroke, like he made Katrina hit New Orleans, and let the twin towers be hit by planes. Geez everyone knows Bush is to blame for everything and anything that is wrong in this country and even if it is right if bush caused it then it's wrong too. Just ask any of the Bush bashers who write on here. They can't tell you what exact laws he has broken but he should be impeached why ? Because the upstanding never done anything wrong senator Kennedy and his cronies say so.

I don't know what God would have to do with the ages of various senators. I think they age without divine intervention. as for the south dakotan, he's currently recovering well after a bunch of republicans and democrats prayed for his safety.

1) God is not a Republican, although it is my opinion that the Republican party's values more closely align with His values.
2) Only God knows how long a person will live.

Interesting point. I would not make light of Sen Johnson's situation.

I would rather Republicans be conservatives and win on this issues. This is the only way that they are going to learn that Republican voters do not vote for big government big spenders.

God is not affiliated with any party , he doesn't take sides and can see both sides of the issue, but doesn't interfere and lets everyone make their own mistakes. Then pay the consequences for them .

God is right.
Republicans are right.

But as convincing as this is, it does not necessarily mean that God is a Republican. Since republicans are right 80% of the time, and dems are right 20% of the time, it isn't fair to say for certain.

wrong category, GOD-BOY, Jesus is a democrat, think about it, he's wise, and charitable, and has compassion for people other than himself, plus he's from the middle east, I don't imagine there are many middle eastern bush supporters

Lets see,"Love your neighbor as yourself."Take care of the poor. They let many people here suffer. There are millions of people without health care, food, and homes.
They say they are Christians.Christian means Christlike.Do they seem Christlike.
No what happened To the Senator, was because he didn't take care of himself.

God is a Republican because Republicans actually BELIEVE IN HIM. Democrats are in favor of gay marriage and abortion (baby-killing) which the Church is in opposition to. Republicans try to uphold a moral standard in their political dealings, and most Catholics are Republicans, which is what God wanted.
