my wife is not so into the romance ,you know the candles and the soft music and the rose pedal bankets on the bed. But for once I would like to blow her mind.

I think that you should tailor a romantic day or evening in relation to your wife's tastes. Not all women are impressed by rose petals on beds and 150 dollar bottles of champagne.
Think about what she likes, her personality and then do something related to that that may include the two of you. For example, does she love the outdoors? Maybe just a moonlight picnic would be romantic.
In other words, what works for some doesn't necessarily work for others. While I am certain your wife will love anything you do she will appreciate it even more if you have kept in mind her personal taste.

My idea of romance is the honeymoon suite in a nice hotel. Leave a long stemmed red rose on her pillow. Make sure they have a jacuzzi and put scented candles all around it with some awesome smelling bubble bath. Not too much bubble bath though, lol. Top this off with her favorite wine and a box of chocolates. A hot oil massage afterwards would be nice and well, you guys take it from there.

This might be going out a limb but......
re-enact your first date if possible, or maybe go to the same place where you proposed to her.
Very romantic but not over the top with all the cheesy flowers and soft music. And if you can show her that you still remember thoose places that would definitely mean a lot to her cause i could bet that she still remebers where you guys were when.....

My husband thinks this about me too. But just once, I'd love to get some flowers. Sounds corney? Yah, but it would be a blast to come home to flowers. I doubt it will happen though. I am kinda a tough cookie, so I don't think he'd believe I was saying this.....then again.....

take her on a picnic. Its simple! but maybe she just wants to spend time with you. that would be perfect. it just depends on the kind of woman she is! i hope this helps
