The New Final Fantasy VII?

Question

I've heard rumors that a FFVII remake is coming out for the PS3... is this true?
I wanna raise chocobos and watch Aeris die in high definition, god dammit!

In other news... am I the only person on the face of the planet that supports the PS3 and the Wii?
I don't have either yet... too broke... but I'm working my *** off for overtime money ^(_^

OMG it would ruin FFVII and be great at the same time, I don't know what to think :(

Hate to say it, but there is no next-gen FFVII...at least, not for the moment. And, I don't wanna watch the healing goddess (Aeris) die again *tear*, but that's just me.

I support the Wii, not as much the PS3, though. Get the Wii first, the PS3 will put you in a debt like no other.

It is not true, although EGM put it in it's upcoming games under the PS3 section, the rumors are false as of right now. Square has stated that they have no plans to remake the game. This doesn't mean that they won't remake it for certain, but it does mean there won't be a remake anytime soon.

I've seen on the DVD 2 of Advent children one of the makers of the movie saying literally "the question of a FF VII remake is not if there is going to be one...but rather when we will make it"

It's just a mater of time...trust me on that :o) whether it's next year or in 5 years.....the world will see the new FF VII

Nope.. not true (at least for the time being).
The trailer for FFVII Remake is not for advertising the new FFVII.
but rather as a demo of what PS3's graphic engine can do.

He he he... that's what they said for PS2 as well..... good luck man. I'll belive only when then official trailer is realeased by Square-Enix....

On more thing... don't u feel that after the battle system in XII and XIII, if u revert back to the normal 3 people system, people will not like it...
